Ladies and Gentlemen, the NFL Playoffs are finally here! After a fantastic season, it’s time to break down this weekend’s Super Wild Card games. Here’s what you need to know to (responsibly) make the most out of this sweet offer.
It’s been a bit of a rough stretch for these Dolphins, but they finally picked up a W and secured their spot in the playoffs. The loss of Tua will hurt, but even in their five game losing streak, four of those games were lost by one score. Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill are arguably the best wide receiver combo in the league, and Raheem Mostert has been a solid back. The Miami offense has been high powered, 6th in total yards and 4th in passing yards compared to Buffalo’s 7th. Buffalo also has a pretty solid run game, but the Dolphins have the 4th best rush defense in the league, barely letting up 100 yards on the ground per game. I’m still having a hard time trying to talk about Miami, especially after the announcement of Tua being ruled out.
Now the Bills have absolutely dominated this season, only dropping three games all year. After the tragic and scary incident with Damar Hamlin, the Bills have rallied around their teammate and dedicated the remainder of their season to him. What followed was a game against the Patriots where Hines returned not one but TWO kicks for touchdowns. That screams team of destiny. Buffalo has also been amazing at home, only losing one game in overtime to an electric Vikings offense. The Bills are also 2nd in total yards per game and points scored a game and have not lost since November 13th. Waddle is questionable, and their backup might not even play, which means another start for a struggling Skylar Thompson. They’re my pick to win the Super Bowl, and it all starts with a win this weekend against a banged-up Miami team. I’m taking the Bills here.
