Oh, College Football how I’ve missed you. You have no idea how excited I am this Saturday to sit down on my couch, flick on my TV, and watch some great games. One of those great games is going to be this one. Whenever an ACC and SEC school decide to go head-to-head, chaos and entertainment always ensue. Tennessee was a great team last year and Virginia is looking for a bounce-back season. I think that Virginia could come out and surprise some teams this year, and Tennessee will be a perfect opportunity to do so.

The Virginia Cavaliers had a season to forget last season. They went three and seven and failed to qualify for a bowl game. However, this season is a real chance for this team to bounce back. The ACC is still a strong division, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this game had real repercussions for the playoffs at the end of this year’s season. What’s even better for the Cavaliers is the fact that Tennessee has been a victim of their own success when it comes to the NFL draft. Yes, they had a great team last year but half of that team is now playing professional football and making millions of dollars as they deserve. The Cavaliers may surprise people with how well they are able to keep pace with a team like the Volunteers.

Tennessee had a remarkable team last season. They beat several ranked teams on their way to an Orange Bowl victory against Clemson. I mean who will ever forget the Volunteer’s improbable win against the Crimson Tide? The storming of the field and the amount of property damage that ensued at that school will go down in the history books as one of the most impressive victories in college sports. And I honestly find myself drafting a ridiculous amount of Jalin Hyatt in Fantasy Football towards the end of drafts due to his talent and upside within that Giants offense. But to get back to college ball, this season is all about answering questions when it comes to this team. How much of last year’s success was coaching? How much was talent? How much did the culture impact their success? An early game against Virginia will give us answers to those questions real fast.

Both of these teams have high expectations for this season and anything can happen. Bet on either team and get your extra $200 in bet credits.
