The great American pastime is back, ladies and gentlemen. After a long and crazy offseason, it’s time to settle in and watch some baseball. It’s shaping up to be an awesome season, so here is what you need to know to (responsibly) make the most out of this sweet offer from BetMGM.

Starting on the bump for the O’s is Kyle Gibson, recent acquisition from the Phillies. Last season he went 10-8 with an ERA of 5.05 which is definitely below average. Defensively the Orioles are probably a little below average, but they have a young core that is rapidly improving. Adley Rutschman is quickly becoming a marquee catcher hitting .254 with over 100 hits in less than 400 at bats. Ryan Mountcastle is solid, and Cedric Mullins is great in the outfield with almost a 4 WAR last season alone. This team after years of being terrible is finally turning it around, and really does have a bright future in a tough division.

Now the Red Sox had a roller coaster of an offseason, with wild ups and downs. Losing Xander hurt so bad after having him be such an important part of the team for so long. Despite that tragedy there definitely were some highlights for us Sox fans. The Japanese player we signed, Masataka Yoshida, looked absolutely amazing during both Spring Training and the World Baseball Classic. I am very excited to see him play at Fenway. We also signed Corey Kluber who is on the older side, but still an effective player and a great arm to have in the bullpen. Chris Sale seems finally healthy and ready to go, and Devers signed a nice long extension which we absolutely needed to happen. While Corey also struggled a bit last year, I think he is still much better than Gibson, and I believe our offense will come out swinging with run support. Overall I think we improved as a squad, and should be able to open the season with a bang against our divisional rivals.

No way I’m betting against the Sox, if you agree you can tail and get up to $1,000 in bonus bets if your bet doesn’t hit!
