Sports betting is almost here Ohio, and man, did it come at a great time. The Bengals are hot and playing the struggling Buccaneers this weekend; here’s what you need to know to responsibly make the most out of this sweet offer from BetMGM.
Tom Brady is, without question, the greatest to ever do it in the NFL. If you disagree, you simply do not know the ball, or you’re delusional. That being said, it has been a rough season for him and the Tampa Bay faithful. Tom has only thrown 17 touchdowns, and the Buccs just got stomped by Mr. Irrelevant, making Brock Purdy and Mr. Relevant the only QB to ever beat Brady in his first start. The Bengals have struggled a little bit defending the run, and, overall have a slightly worse defense than the Buccaneers, which Brady should look to take advantage of. Despite their struggles, Tampa Bay remains first in the awful NFC South and looks to stay in playoff contention. Even when he is struggling, it’s still Tom Brady with a supporting cast of some of the best receivers in the game and a solid couple of running backs. If the offensive line wasn’t Swiss cheese and Tom was actually mobile, this team would be a lot better. Also, two of the three dynamic wide receivers for the Bengals are questionable, but even if Burrow only has Chase, he is scary.
Now the Bengals are looking to make it six straight wins, and Joey Burrow smells blood in the water. Their offense is a lot better than the Buccaneers, averaging a whole touchdown more a game. While they have a slightly worse defense, it isn’t really enough to put them at a huge disadvantage, and Joe Mixon should be able to have a day on the ground. The Bengals are averaging almost 400 yards a game in the NFL. Sheeesh! They have the same record as the Ravens and look to remain in first place in the AFC North with a win, as long as Lamar is injured, they should have the upper hand in the race for first. This is a team that wants to make it back to the Super Bowl, and they’re talented enough to do it. Personally, the line confuses me a little, and I think the Bengals should win and cover easily, but what do I know.
I think the Bengals will make it six straight wins this week, so be sure to sign up today with BetMGM to get your free $200 when sports betting goes live!
