- Finally, place a bet on Bills vs. Rams
The NFL scheduling the Bills to play the Rams in week one is like taking a starving child to a buffet. We’ve been craving football for months, and on Thursday, NBC is bringing out the filet mignon. The Rams come into this game after celebrating last year’s Super Bowl this off-season with their nine fans. While LA did lose Odell Beckham JR, Robert Woods, Von Miller, and old man Whitworth, their offense is still scarier than The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The Rams’ receiving core is so good that they could catch an STD from a Mormon. Allen Robinson was one of the best receivers in the league without a competent quarterback, so the tandem of him and Cooper Kupp has the potential to be the best one-two knockout in the league. Throw in a healthy Cam Akers…and this offense could burn most NFL defenses all day long. That being said, the Bills aren’t most NFL defenses.
Even without Tre’Davious White playing the first four games, Buffalo has arguably the best pass defense in the league. Safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer are talented enough to ease the young corners into guarding LA’s best weapons, and their defense can put more pressure on a quarterback than a first-generation Asian American puts on their child come ACT time. We already know what Josh Allen can do, and the Bills running attack is a sleeping giant. Without Jalen Ramsey, the Rams’ secondary is about as mediocre as an ABC sitcom. Allen is going to torch the Rams through the use of his second and third options, so expect big games from Gabe Davis and Dawson Knox. Vegas likes the Bills -2.5, but I think they win by a little more than that. Take the Bills and be sure to bet with Bet365!
